The Thickness Of Blind

My fiance' Paul and I were having a conversation one day mostly about abstract things. He used the term "thickness of blind". It seemed to speak to me these words. But, look deep within yourself to find your Thickness of Blind.

Staring into
This thickness of blind

Wandering, searching,
Hoping to find

Myself; which is lost
Within my own mind


Looking for something,
That’s right in front of me

But this thickness of blind
Does not allow me to see

Myself; which is there
I have to believe


Through clouded images
Inside of my head

For this thickness of blind
Nothing more need be said

For all will be resolved
When this body is dead.

Shirley, the thickness of blind is in layers, and if you uncovered millions one right after the other the thickness would still be there, Bill

Those words are used descriptively here- but the ending was a bit of a surprise... (feel like I did when they shot "ol' yeller.") lol- boy, is that dating myself!
