He is tomorrow,or at sunset already, even though we count a new day by midnight!

Twenty Five

He's still just a lad
though he's a Man

through a mothers eyes
nothing changes,

From the time he popped out
squawking for a feed

one hardly had time to draw breath
like a bear he squeezed the very essence

Siphoning each drop...

He cried little,
drank all there was to take

Commando crawl
within a humdicrib

donned with lone ranger mask
protecting precious eyes

as he recovered from jaundice...

What happed to those years?

He was always a special person
though he saw it not
one who needed extra
yet fought hard to gain
where siblings seemed
to take presidence
mother's are spread thin
like heated margerine
barely covering the bread
though trying to nourish
each in their own way

There's always not enough!

Ah such lamenting
since he disappeared
into a worm hole
and I, wonder if Acme
really did only make
them for toons!

Someday, with hope
His smiling face
I will see again
someday, soon
For he is Twenty Five
quarter of a century

And I have loved him before he was alive!

Happy Birthday Son

I know you're out there somewhere xxx

A true picture of a mother's love that is relentless and never ever diminishes or wains. Bless you, Ch'erie, and may your heart be made satisfied and complete to know that these beloved words are seen, heard, understood and received by the cherished one they are written for.

Touched by heart. My only hope that he is not really lost but only in transition.
