We gather here today
Hand in hand
As we take a few minutes to reflect
Remembering that horrible day
A day witnessed by millions
Planes flying directly into the World Trade Center
People scrambling for their lives
Thousands feared buried beneath the rubble
Our lives have moved on
For those who lost a family member, friend or co-worker
Their lives slowly rebuild
For those still waiting and hoping
Waiting for answers of the unknown
Are helpless their hearts breaking
A horrible memory for all to remember
To all whom lost someone
Our prayers go out to you
For your lives to move on
Be strong for deep in your hearts
Your loved one is tucked away
