Out of the thick, wet fog.
From deep within the snarling wind,
Between the pounding drops of rain,
Only a small glimpse of the Sun.
From the loud voices in my head,
The world screaming in vain,
News at 6 yelling out fear,
Slivers of silence slither between.
A shaking at The Rock n’ Roll Palace
And the fog machine quits with a THUMP.
The sweet sound of nothing floats by
Sun shines through the window on the stage.
