Life with a degenerative Chronic pain condition is hard to describe. Dealing with constant pain is often much easier then dealing with the emotional struggle of being sick.
Mourning
Around my heart is a shroud of black
An engulfing emptiness I can't push back
Walking around with torrential gloom
Feelings are words I can't spit out
Tears flow constant, they are never ending
Around me the world keeps turning
For everyone else it's all the same
Day in and out they play their own life game
It would be so much easier if I could cast some blame
Where's the fault for so much pain?
Will I see the Son through this much rain?
The future only looks like a few short links on a chain
Weeping and begging for answers from above
Explaining my self seems like a mute point to the ones I love
Crazy is the only term that "seems" to fit like a glove
They don't understand what it is like you see
To mourn...
Because, I am mourning me.

I'm still working toward that and I look forward to watching you do it as well.
