When emotions run free and senses seem heightened....
Questions Of Love
Can a heart flutter?
Can a soul weep?
Can a dream become real
When I'm not asleep?
Can I read your thoughts?
Can I touch your mind?
Can love and passion
Be ever so divine?
Will my senses be calm?
Will this love ever die?
WIll I walk on the clouds?
Will I live in the sky?
Will I cherish our time?
Will you please show me how?
Will I live forever?
Or love just for now?

This series of interrogatives probes matters of the heart with a skill that separates the surgical precision of veteran poets from say the random inquiries of romantic versifiers. Tread lightly from here on in. You've tipped your hand. This is your tell. But don't worry, we won't all fold just yet. ;)
