That spring day that You rescued Me
How You quickly brightened My life
You and Me, what a wondrous thing
All these years now, Husband and Wife

We had both about given up on love
Our first marriages, what a disaster
And Today, It Is Still, You and Me
Still So Very Happy, Our Ever After

You, once had a lot of material things
Me, I never took very much stock in those
Now, both You and Me, love our humble abode
And each and every day now, our love it still grows

I soon introduced You to the great Northwood
You introduced Me to the enchanting Southwest
These days, both You and Me, love both places
And after all these years, our love is still the best

I can still tease You every day about anything
You always lift Me up, whenever I am down
You and Me, what a truly remarkable pairing
You such a loving gal, Me such a childish clown

You, still cannot pronounce a single Polish word
Me, my comprehension of Spanish, is still abysmal
When You and Me yell at each other, we soon laugh
Life Together, for both You and Me, is never ever dull

Although You inevitably always cuss me out
Whenever I bring another critter home, to You
Soon, both You and Me, love our newest orphan
And, for both You and Me, our love remains true

And although You have been scared half to death, by Me
On the wilderness treks, You and Me have shared together
These days, We would happily follow each other anywhere
You and Me, content to be together, in any type of weather

That warm spring day that You rescued Me,
How You so very quickly brightened My life;
You and Me, what a truly, truly wondrous thing,
Happy Valentine’s Day, To You, My Precious Wife.

Me and You, and Quite a Few Furry Critters, Too;
You Have Made My Life, So Very Happy and Grand.
