The Transition
I sit and watch as the night sounds slowly surrender to those of day. Lone crickets stop and a chorus of birds begin to make way.
The darkness of night has put up the good fight, but it is no match for the brilliance of the coming day.
I watch in amazement as the seamless transition begins to take place. The blackness softly fades soon followed by a dull pinkish gray.
The magic has begun as I see the first slivers of the rising sun. I sit and watch with a smile on my face as God takes His paintbrush and begins to paint the lingering clouds with a smattering of yellows and pinks all whilst marveling at the majesty of His love and Grace.
Life is good when our transitions in life begin this way.
