The best deal one makes is when one deals to get peace
Only from that does any other deal follow. I cast for that deal
In the hope it will come. But instead a monster of distraction
Stares me in the face. There is no hope that this figure will trudge away.
It glares at me the live long day, making all hope of peace a mockery.
I no more look at Nature’s face, it’s work, just work that keeps me on.
Work of the mind, needed to distract me; losing myself in writing.
A total escape from stress. A search for what the world calls success,
Gives relief only to throw me towards despair. That peace which I saw
In childhood and later, is lost forever entirely; I never as before.
long for and it means a lots when we do achieve it and is able to keep it forever, that would be wonderful for the world as a whole.
I enjoyed reading the verses to your poem "That peace which I saw In
childhood and later, is lost foever entirely. Keep writing.
