Now it’s 3:44 in the morning
And he’s sitting at his computer
Wracking his brain, as day’s dawning
Wondering what to write that will suit her
She’s lit a spark, this lady so curvaceous
And he hasn’t felt this for a while
Bringing forth thoughts that are quite salacious
And obviously making him smile
“Wanna love, wanna have, wanna hold you” (*)
Is a song Luther Vandross once sang
Those sentiments echoed do hold true
For this love-struck and sensitive man
So at 3:44 in the A.M.
He’s thinking of what he can say
When the thoughts of her causes such mayhem
And he’s really just one kiss away
Deep inside there’s a feeling of hunger
He knows that it isn’t just lust
Not sure he can wait any longer
But the girl of his dreams isn’t fussed
For she’s told him that she’ll keep him waiting
For the time when their bodies entwine
When they embark on exquisite mating
Drinking each other in like fine wine
On the night shift he adopts a demeanor
For his job this requires him to be
A fellow that couldn’t be meaner
But that side of him she’ll never see
For he’s tender and loving and gentle
And he’ll love her like she’s never known
His intention’s to drive her quite mental
And claim her, this prize, as his very own!
