The Peace Within By Stanley T. Crawford One can be in the midst of great turmoil, yet Peace serenely dwells within. One can be under siege from their surroundings, yet Peace actively dwells within. One can be unsure of which way to turn, yet be guided through the proper path by the Peace within. One can feel overwhelmed from time to time, yet the Peace within spurs countless courage to continue on. One can feel all alone at one moment, yet the Peace within fills you fully with the Spirit of Comfort. One can feel pressed down by life�s events, yet the Peace within lifts you above the unpleasant pressures. One can, one can, and one can; yet the Peace within soothes, silences, and solves it. Oh how true this poem is. I enjoyed reading each verse. It expressed
to the reader that no matter what the situation is, if we just keep the
faith and trust in God we will keep the peace within, we can carry on. Amen.

This leads me to think about my own poem, "The Twig Or The Elephant", although the solution in dealing with the life's problem aren't the same. While your poem suggests to have peace within oneself, mine suggests to have that inner mischievous child within us so even if the world has turned upside down, the child can just simply looks at it in a child's playful eyes.

I agree, no matter what we could be facing in life, there is always a solution to solve it and rid of the negative feelings.
