I saw thousands of bugs that had wings,
But they were crawling …of all things.
Now I wonder what in the world could they be?
And I don't like the way they're looking at me.
The wood in my house is falling apart,
How do I fix it – Oh where do I start,
Do I buy sealant or new beams,
And what about those leaky seams?
Cockroaches, silverfish and mice,
Super mold, dry rot and lice.
Do I buy insect bombs or spray
or just stomp these bugs away?
I'll do it myself and I know I can,
but maybe its best to call the bug man,
He can walk me through what has to be done,
and maybe he'll use an electro gun.
And what’s the fuss about that supermold?
It can eat my house in a year I'm told.
What alternatives to chemicals can there be?
I will ask the bug man and he'll explain them to me.
Soon my house will be restored to right.
And all sealed up really nice and tight.
That nary a bug would come to dwell.
Unless they enjoy termicide hell.
For I'm as smart as can be.
'cause this book has guided me.
And now my home is safe and sound.
That is why I have this book around.
