Aber an
his boyfriend Ner
Weren't out with a female Abner
When a thunder awoke
as a storm a'broke
in the sky
was blue
An' his add-a-plan
(a joke on wording-
in the real estate cottage rental
industry)
meeting 'ad failed
'an 'is mentally gratified horn
now 'ad laid only
rain wet and prematurely frustated in 'is hand.
"was sure not to have failed"
much as less a wall should 'ad moved the same
where it is and always was
and not to be where it 'ad planned.
Must not time and the world 'ad
changed
'Cause Lady Abner
aint ever been seen again
Sunshine, Day, Night, Halloween,
New Years, Mornings, Fall,
or Spring
And the best I can add
Is I ain't had my fun
Simply 'cause of a downpouring rain
