As your shadow moves along with you when you seek it
Not to be found
And cannot be proven to exist
when it's existance is not of question
afterward
to the shade it casts
on solid obects
that are still in the present at least half of the time
and a half time recess always lingers in the shadows
once you've gotten where you are going
most of the time
Solidly. who'd know a difference
of a man sometimes
An' another sometimes
One be recessing in the fair shadows
some of the time
And the other invisibly recessing
in the shade of his own shadow
some of the time
Essentially
one is a deceiver of two
to point at the shade
The other transiently remembers the essentials
-that he cannot catch an honest witness to

I was intrigued by this profoundly philosophical piece that also displays a strong scientific leaning on the part of the author. Some parts are poetic while others feel like a treatise on physics. I was fascinated by the handling of time as indiscernible, uncapturable, but inevitable. Interesting work.
