I'll shed you a poem
of arithmetic
Counting lightly on mine own estatotick
and rhyming and registered metronomic tocking
that rings a.'noise in that a boy's boises boy's room
from my patented clocking
And then .....
It all went kafloey
when Cahill took the bat
and a light weight hit the ball
as I danced with the lady
in the alumni's expensive dance hall
a'night in mine armoured warm security
and a night stick in a light weight
cast
a far off look from my past
a shadow
a glow
on mine
own danceing feet
that still and always does persevere
less or plus
or minus
a' mour or less
of a hole in the roof
where the roof does leak
And all I could say was
might as well as been
broadcast
anyway
by the DJ at the station
for its educational and pornographic content and sensations
where I added up
the speed of all the trains
on all of the rails
and the mathematical passing rates
in sensational relations
Welcome!
The poems in this beautifully bound book are a result of over twenty years of observations. Observations of the world around us and on the telecommunications network. All of the hate, love, heroism, disasters, and those who help.

Each person is but a grain of sand resting beside the sea. This thought sets the tone for Jill Eisnaugle’s latest poetry collection, Beside Still Waters.
