What I thought was peek, is the base

But pseudo-feminism is a curse
A vulture is tamed to be a pet
A stone wall is regarded as a gate
You are my music O woman, you are my psalm
Without you, life is beneath Goliath’s palm
The kids are writing new tragedy
Baby sitter can not be a mother
“Day-care” can not be a daddy
What is life in the first place, working all the time?
Polished with pseudo-desires, insane design
The growth rate is high and production is fine
Damn care if love and care are on the decline
With such attributes and signs
We are jack-ass slaves of modern times

Tragedy indeed. Unfortunately for many in modern society it's a necessity for both parents to work, and for more hours than in past times, just to supply basic human needs. A sad commentary on our times. Unfortunately it is the children who suffer the most. There is the other side of the coin where many pursue careers without thought to anything else. True "jackass slaves" to modern times. I like this poem and agree with the sentiments expressed.
Seems like you hit the nail on the head! Too many who care too less about the issues that are truly pertinent in a family unity. But society has changed so dramatically and values and morals oftentime devalued. A sad but true reflection of where humanity is heading.
