Why don’t women understand
Men follow the Adam’s trend
In the allays of paradise, they meet
And part at the hell’s Wall Street
Women point at the men’s guilty consciences
Men claim they are perfecting by experiences
“Each new partner adds perfection to love”, they say
“For women we take this trouble prey”
Women want a long exclusive love
Men try some quick abrupt move
Women look for the rose’s bloom
But men just care about its perfume
The words women think are everything
But men just care about their meaning
Till the Day of Judgment they’ll fight
When God will tell them who’s right

That was very interesting. Gave me some more insight on the difference between men and women.
But: Are you sure that it is only women who go for the long, lasting, exclusive love?

A most interesting concept, your enquiring mind has crafted an excellent thought provoking poem intricately penned Masood. A question I have however: had it not been for a woman initially admiring a rose's beautiful bloom, would man ever have been intrigued, or stopped to savour its perfume? In savouring its perfume, does man not look closer, and begin to admire the beauty of the bloom? Just an observation :-) Thanks for sharing.
Masood, the title of this poem attracted me. Naturally being a woman, I am curious. lol

This is wonderful and so true. You really hit the nail on the head here and so beautifully written too. I never thought about the Day of Judgement when God will tell who's right. I like that alot. But I know most 94% of the time I am right. - LOL - I think.

I agree wiyh Peggy about the last 2 lines but also thing we'll find that neither of us is right. I really liked "Women look for the rose’s bloom But men just care about its perfume" So beautifully put and true! Lisa
