A fort for my grandson.

“His Little Fort” It might be just a little fort To capture his attention for a while Perhaps the first of many in his childhood As he grows…forts will evolve Into more than a spot for a power nap A place to get lost in the world Of make-believe A chance to escape…letting the imagination Reveal to him dreams and aspirations For one day he might be The president and change the World But for now… My one-year-old G-baby slumbers Under the awning of his fort Sweet dreams my precious, ‘lil man~ Original Photo by Author Karen McKeever Copyright © 2017 – All Rights Reserved

That is so sweet. Forts like this, especially when not built by parents are part of a young man's growing up and being creative with his environment. Let us hope that he doesn't have to seek a fort for protection in the future. Except in history and as underground bunkers, forts are basically obsolete.
