In the Azure of Your Thoughts

In the azure of your thoughts
I tasted precious gems of wisdom,
guarding me against impetuous
foolhardiness,

In the infinite heights of your dreams
I soared above the somnolence
of the masses, tacitly allowing
the slaughter of innocents,

In the courage of your convictions
I stood unwavering amidst
the torrents of opposition

And I have become the man
that I saw myself as a young child,
boldly transcending the chains
of this reality, embracing
my inner freedom

And the eternal youth of being
who I am, unfettered by the
conceptions of convention
and normality, speaking boldly
to the language of power
and greed, that rules with
deception,

For I am what I am --
a human being, who thinks
his own thoughts and follows
his own dreams, declaring
allegiance to his own authenticity,
laughing naked and transparent,
tearing down all labels,
assumptions and mindsets,
embracing the impulse
of the unknown,

Dancing in the wind of
chance, in the beauty
of the ever-evolving creation,

Breaking all the rules
in the name of love.
