'When dreams take flight'
Let the candle light,
The dark redeeming night
When all the world lies sleeping,
And our wildest dreams take flight
There'll come another morrow born,
Where wit and fancy lie forlorn
And reality is cast,
On a cold and weary past
The dancing hours were sweet,
The moon will not repeat
The maddest moments in the night,
To the jaundiced day
If only our sun lit days could be,
So ever-lasting wild and free
As our journeys of the night,
When all the world lies sleeping
