O painted twilight sky,
How old you must be
Seeing the world in infancy.
To watch it grow,
From first birth howl
Through toddling years.
Exploring new wonders
Adolescence burst forth.
Expanding our girth,
From molten seas
To frozen ice ages.
From towering dinosaurs
To grasping humans
O painted twilight sky,
What questions I could ask
Of just your daily tasks.
You are completely free
Of constraints and society.
Alone on a palette you stand,
Nightly creating a new brand.
I hunger for your knowledge
But without any grudge.
You have seen the darkness
As well as the brightness.
What is your advice, o timely sage,
To see us through this new age?
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
Be safe,
Karen
