There are times I have to chase a thought

Through this befuddled mind of mine.

You klnow the feeling when it occurs,

It happens to most of us, at one time or another.

Imagine you are on a stage

And looking out at the audience

You see a myriad of faces

Waiting for you next move.

A good comedian knows when to pull

The plug and get himself out of this rut.

He always will make fun of himself

Or do something unexpected. for a laugh.

I feel more secure on a stage talking to a sea of people rather than talking to a few. Not sure if this is like everyone else.

I hate when I forget what I'm about to say. What is even worse is forgetting someone's name.

It's always best to make fun of yourself. It can hurt coming from someone else.
