Ecstatic Poetry
David and I cruised
towards the
dancing blue surf
early this morning
The Ocean was too
churned up to swim
so we dipped our feet
in the playful aqua puddles
running like sandpipers
in and out of the
mighty crests
I shared my sandwich
with a few seagulls
and blew a kiss
at the sand crab
peeking out of
his dune hole
Walking barefoot
on the gritty shells
and shining pebbles
I felt as phosphorescent
and dazzling as the
luminous eyes of the Sea
The brightest star
in the Heaven blazed
in our hearts
"Thank you" I whispered
as we bid adieu to the
majestic Ocean temple 🌊
