 The stream

wild flowers

lilies floating gently

as the river maiden bathes herself

among the reeds.

Quietly as the sun goes down

the sunset illuminates vibrancy

and serenity.

The water gently ripples

amidst the tall reeds

as she begins to soothe herself

under the gasps of the night,

with the mountains to protect

she has no fright.

Then her young lover joins,

his dark rippling body jutting masculinity

as they swim and bathe

creating a warm sensual fervour

under the stars.

Wow! This is great.

Actually last night in my swimming pool I watched a blue and red
sky as the wind drifted by and made ripples in the still water.

Great experiences, thank you for reflecting on that special moment..

Peace, Love and Abundant Blessings,

John Michael Domino

Say Something Terrorible v3 by RickthePoetWarrior

My mom says ‘If you can’t say anything nice then don’t say anything’. Sorry mom but under the guise of poetic license I penned these beauties.

Visions of A Skylark Dressed in Black by Aberjhani
