Dying... to see you Again

by Jeff Mason — Read all 207 poems by Jeff Mason

Just a little something that hit me.

Wednesday, June 16, 2004

Dying...

to see you again;

with you -- race the wind;
with you -- chase the sun and the moon.

Crying...

for your pain to mend;

for you -- to depend... upon me;
for you -- to pretend... that you're free.

Trying...

to keep hanging on;

until we're...

together again...

Flying...

where worlds never end;

in your arms, at last... I can see;
in your eyes, at least... I can be me.

Lying...

in soft grass with you;

drinking the dew... until dawn;

forever...

to you...

holding on.

Dying...

to see you again;

with you -- race the wind;
with you -- chase the sun and the moon.
