... reminiscence -- and essence; dreams and hopes of future, mixed with thoughts of past.

~ Etched in Hues ~

Today I found myself hungry; not for food; hungry for you -- again.
That electric feel when we kiss...
I still have that burning imprint upon my lips from your lips.
I drink your eyes like liquid nectar; whenever you catch me stealing glances at you;
the color I can't describe - 16 million colors, and I've never seen that shade;
only in your eyes;
those eyes that speak in subtle whispered tones of you.

I can't help but memorize your scent, every time you're near me.

You make everything feel so new, and renewed...

whenever I hear you speak or whisper or...
sing, when you think nobody is listening.

I would give up everything for you.
But... I've never really had anything that was worth giving up;
until you.

I know I'm not always easy to love.
I know you said you had your quirks;
but I adore every single one of those quirks.

Whenever you're not near me,
a part of me is missing.

I love you!
That's all I want you to know.

~

It's wonderful when you meet someone who you can talk to as if to your very own soul, Jeff. This reads almost like a soliloquy and is how I imagine Romeo speaks to both himself and to Juliet. A most heartfelt and romantic way to say 'I love you!' - the most precious three words on the face of the planet. May you both be blessed. Kate xx

You certainly have a way of translating how you feel about love and your relationship in a most pleasing and direct way that gets to the heart of the matter and the many shades of its color.
