God only knows why I write and have such an incredible passion for every word. When the words come I have to share. I hid them away for years fearing rejection. I'm no longer afraid God gave me these words for a reason. Put them under a bushel NO! I'm gonna let it shine

Against all odds we're
here today,
dancing and waltzing
life's troubles away.
Your sorrows may be different
than those I endure,
yet still we live on
reaching for more.
Unleashing tomorrow's
uncertainty,
with hopes for the best
no matter what be.
Eyes taking pictures
frozen in time,
stored in the corner of our minds.
Brought back to life
again and again
a long lost love,
or treasured friend.
Once upon someone's
memory,
against all odds
you were meant to be.
Your soul has no expiration date.
It survives in the minds and hearts of everyone you encountered in your journey.
