Simple words written from my heart to yours

 Imagine

 
Today you think you have it all
image what more awaits,
when you let go and 
believe in something
trusting in hope
walking by faith.
That inner strength, the voice
that wakes your soul today,
echoes through the hands of time
recording your journey
every step of the way.
Imagine what life would be like
if the future we all could see,
every broken promise
or shattered heart
in an instant reality.
This life may not turn out
the way you'd always planned,
most of it your heart may 
never understand.
Imagine a light an inner peace
that dwells inside of you,
tell your story someone listens
here on earth and heaven too.

This is a comforting poem, full of faith. I especially like the phrase "the voice that wakes your soul today" It reminds me that the God I bid Good Morning to every day is with me constantly, giving His peace and love to see me through the hard times.

Beautifully put. One can never imagine tomorrow's gifts, particularly if today appears overwhelming. But when we stop to imagine the possibilities.. ah then it's endless!

This poem touches the heart of people with faith. I may also touch the heart of others praying for faith and hope for a better future. We should live life with few expectations. This way life becomes full of unexpected surprises and seems much better for the soul. Amen...

That's why I don't make many long term plans. I place myself in God's hands and let Him lead me and guide me. Sometimes plans can be broken when things happen in life...like unexpected illnesses. The best for us to do is to live each day to the fullest and never regret any decisions made. Be happy!
