Here's a poem I wrote a while back and am thinking of inserting it in the beginning of Mary's Diary. It sort of sums up Jesus' life from her viewpoint.
My Baby, Mine?
Nay, all Heaven
claimed
That Child divine.
My heart ached so
For scriptures
warned
Of pain and woe.
The years rolled
on
And people
thronged
From early dawn
But some showed
hate
Oh, Jesus flee
Before too late!
My faith is shaken
The Son of God
By soldiers taken.
Too pained to cry.
He suffered so
Before He died.
Oh glory, glory,
My Son arose!
So ends my story.

I would welcome suggestions on what to call Mary's Diary, the Life of Jesus through His Mother's Eyes now that I'm getting it re-edited, re-formatted, and re-published. : D
I am intrigued with your thought and would be eager to hear any suggestions on how to change that final sentence. Mary's Diary is available on CreateSpace, and you are welcome to review it there also, if you want.
Marilyn, I am so happy to have seen a comment by you this morning and to track you down. I'm glad you are here on Authors' Den. It's a privilege to read your work in the little bit of time I have today.
This poem is brief and to the point, but still reveals the heart of Jesus' mother. I thought the last line could be improved, although it is true and focuses on the Son. Something about it does not feel right to me. Maybe I'm just too picky. I know if you have been on Fan Story, though, you probably have received some comments that were not too welcome, so please don't be offended. If I didn't admire your work, I wouldn't dare to critique in such a way.
Blessings,
Connie
