I got a head cold because of the crazy weather we've had in Kentucky (it was actually 70 the one day, almost 3 weeks ago now) and I've had the cough from hell...well now I have no voice and this morning Robin left the showerhead turned on when she shut the shower off this morning so I got a very cold wake up call when I went to take a shower this morning...and on top of it I work for a car door unlocking company so I may not be home when Robin gets here and I've been making up little poems for amusement and this is what I came up with for today...
I was here but now I'm not
And I just want you to know I love you a lot
Even though you left the showerhead on
And when I flipped the water on
The freezing water hit me in the back of the head
And oh how I was wishing I was dead
It made me try to squeal from shock
And then I did the hack and cough from the shock
And oh how I wish I could talk
So I could call you and do more than talk
I wanted to call you and scream and yell
But I couldn't because my voice has gone to hell
I wanted to tell you I almost peed on the floor
As the cold water ran down my back and butt onto the floor
As I stood there and hacked and coughed
The whole time wishing I could cuss or talk
