This a poem about being aware of god`s presence in our lives and the fact that this life we live is short and borrowed. We need to make the best of it.

I`m aware that terrible storms will come
And destroy everything I have,
I`m aware of every sin I’ve committed,
I`m also aware that for each one confessed
God the almighty already forgave,

I`m aware that friends will turn on me someday,
And I’m aware of each and every word they will say,
There are also people who spit
When they see me walk down the street,
I`m aware of that too!

Some have so much hatred
They can`t even look me in the eye,
And every time they look at me
My presence makes them frown,

My parents may have not planned my arrival
But God did,
You see,
I`m aware of that too!

I`m aware that
I`m living a borrowed life
And if I waste it
God can always take it back

I`m aware of Adam and Eve
And the Garden of Eden
Of Abraham and his covenant with God,
Of Moses and the Ten Commandments,
Most of all,
I`m aware of Christ

The rising and setting of the sun,
The moon,
The twinkling of the stars,
And every time I look at these creations

I`m aware of God`s presents in my life.
