"Waiting" reminds us that while we're dawdling around for time to pass, our life is moving on and that perhaps we need to focus less on "waiting" and more on "living."

Remember what that old cliche...good things come to those who wait...but waiting is one of those words that easy to say, but hard to do...you've penned a great write here my friend, one that we all can identify with...enjoyed!

Geez oh man, this could be written about everyone, at times, and I'm sure your readers can identify with your words, Sharon. Waiting is something no one enjoys -- very well thought out and well written.

They say that two thirds of our lives are spent waiting. Pink Floyd's Time opens up with the refrain, 'Ticking away, the moments that make up a dull day'. How often do we feel that this is our anthem? The writer opens up Psalm 40 with a verb that is literally 'Waiting, waiting, I waited'

We know the feeling, eh, you put it so well even 'waiting for the clock to tick'

Well you must be in a snow belt such as I for we are in the height of the winter blahs here for sure. With temperatures hanging in during the best part of the day at -10 to -15 it is hard to get motivated but your poem offers a glimpse of what is to come so I can hang on a little longer.
