These lines are taken from the author's current novel-at-work based on a native American legend. "Eternal Thoughts" was derived from the idea that cultures who rely on storytelling for remembered history may have something here: our words, our souls' sharing, remain to shape our universe forever.
ETERNAL THOUGHTS
Some thoughts are eternal.
Once they are spoken,
They remain forever in the wind
To impart their wisdom
To the next open spirit
With child's heart.
