Another case of excessive force and outrage on a Blackman,Murdered by Police on His Wedding Day. Mr.Bell a Father and a Husband to be.Thats 2 blackmen killed in a in less than 5 weeks the other man was an activists son 'Shakur' in Newburg NY. the night before Holloween.He was shot in the head 300 + people gathered on the street.After the next days news,you could'nt find a word on it.The story completly Vanished.
Bell was one of my co-worker's godchild ... here, in nyc, everyone is highly aware of the 50 shots that were pumped into the car ... two others were wounded, one with 11 bullets in him ... it's a very tense situation between the police and the community he lived in, as well as the entire city ... this tragic event is not uncommon in nyc ...
Oh...but some do...This touched my heart in more ways than one...for the chaos amid colors seems like such a waste, and for those of them that breed predudice, only hurt the world even more...if we let them.
I wrote three different writes that come to mind, "Let Evil Lose,"Me, You, Us, Them, I and Thee" and "White Duck, Black Ducks...if you get a chance, you can see that there are many that will hear the cry of a Black child, or any child for that matter. My heart goes out to this family and the mother of Sean's children...hopefully they will be the ones to find a reason, a purpose and a drive to continue a life toward peace among all, despite the evil that tore their father away!
