Poem Artwork

                      White Girl please

Bi racial kids  most beautiful boys an Girls in the world

got the Best of Both  Black an White worlds

sunset colored skin

eyes from Blue to hazel

colors cream to peach

Colors of the Rainbow  from Pretty

to infinity  as  the eye can see.

I tell my Golden boy

How lucky he is .

a lil water- perfect curls!

lucky he wasn’t born a Girl.

I tell him story’s

when I was a kid

Trapped, locked, between mama knees.

Wishing I had a Glob of that Blue green grease

Bulls eyed on the back of her hand to slide free.

to quench the thirst in  my painful untamed mane

It was no  game

Below my shoulder she'd  grab my runaway mane

Axed it in half with a thick handle comb

not for hours would the wind wing my hair to take flight

it was always a fight for  my life.

Wrapped that hair round her arm holding tight

I cried as a drop of that green greasy goop was applied.

 not enough to spare pain

She wrestled me again and again

Combing, ridding my waves.

Until I dried my eyes

 and mustered a salty smile

‘’Now don’t you look beautiful’’

Look at that luster shed’ say

as I ran to play

Dredging the thought of the next day.

Bi racial kids the most beautiful in the world

Boys an Girls.

sunset colored skin ,

eyes from Blue to hazel

All colors from cream

To moca ,almond, to peach

Colors of the Rainbow. we already know.

But YO!

White girl learn how to comb ya black  kids hair

Love is to share

no problem there.

keep ya Blackman I don’t care

But white girl please learn how to comb your Black baby’s hair.

You in a Black world now

It looks stupid when you try to talk

An act black

Back folks be laughing behind your back.

With that southern hip hop tone

We Black from The N.- Y.- C

Not down Below DC or

NEW -OR- LEANS.

when People stare at you make sure the kid aint got that snotty nose

Makes you look like a cheap Hoe.

Black folks done covered to many roads

To get a shameful stare.

Love is to share

keep your Blackman I don’t care

But white girl please learn how to comb ya black kids hair.

A fly-a- way heritage

an a nappy attitude

don’t do no use

Nothing has changed because of you.

your kid may look like you

But the world don’t like darkness

an got a real a KKK attitude.

They may be light enough to blend in

But they

have to know their black history an where its been.

All your trying to talk black

seeking my acknowledgement

don’t change a damn thing

or where we been.

We come from ASSASSINATED LEADERS

No apple pies

An POLITICAL CHEATERS.

A street with lead staring eyes

GUNPOWDER FIRE!

a Social 'Tripwire'

 with Drive - by LIVES.

Always living on the sharp edge of Society"s knife.

A beat down, a shot. quicker than a lynching.

A black person can loose their life.

that’s what it’s like to Black in every political inning.

Surviving

Not Hustling stacks

Low pay Work

Being ‘’Merked’’

Yes ! that’s what It’s Like being black.

No matter what you want to Believe

No matter what you want to see

With Unicorn eyes and Marshmallow Fantasy’s

Through eyes that have

Lived the Fake systems social schemes

or believed the promised Dream .

Things aint the same for you an me

BELIEVE me

IT AINT ALL GOOD

AN IT AINT ALL EASY.

My ’’Neezy’’ ..

Living in poverty

From here to there.

keep your Blackman I don’t care

But white girl please learn how comb ya black kids hair!

If you gonna stand by helping ‘’

REP’’ my race

Remember were Proud

Have your kid with Pride in his face.

A History he can trace.

EVERYBODY wants to be us

but scared to take our place

Cause we fought to hard to get our respect an Grace.

Prepare you kid when cops wanna stomp an Mace

to  be STRONG.

 in the Job Place.

When the word NO

NO

NO

NO

Keep’s being spit in your kids face.

to keep their pride

an sucess will find another way.

If you wanna stand by repin my race

Wipe that snot off ya kids face

that shit look like a  thick glass sculpture

I know you aint  'tryin' to rep a Black mother.

learn  black pride.

so youll know what to  say when your kid  comes home cryin.

Be ya self an stop the Act

you look stupid

when you try to talk

an act black.

Girl it sound so

WHACK!

Black people be laughing

behind ya back.

Love is to share so

Keep ya Blackman I don’t care

But White girl PLEASE!

learn how to comb ya black kids hair!

Carolyn ... although I do not understand all of your references, it was not necessary because I could hear your passion and fight. I have not seen the world as you have, but thank you for writing. I will read.

Kudos to you for this one! So true, too. Out here where I live, I see it happening both ways. White girls trying to act Black. and Black girls trying to act White, and their kids don't know what to be while the whole KKK world is laughing at them. I don't see everybody wanting to be Black, nor wanting to be White. What I do see is a whole lot of people who do not know how to be Themselves. And, of course, a whole lot of snotty-nosed kids with lousy hair jobs.

Write on!

Interesting reversal of the prospective of, the violation of the "Nappy Headed Ho's" syndrome.
I applaud you.
