If Love is a Crime

If love is a crime, I’d press all charges against you for giving me your love…
You’re the one who broke all rules; you’re the one who violated my code of conduct.
If love is a crime, you’re guilty of disrupting my agenda.
You’re guilty of disordering my everyday; you’re also guilty of getting lost and absorbed in the flow of my life, when I least expect change in my plan for the future.
If love is a crime, you’re guilty of blindly admiring me without my consent.
You’re guilty of boldly accepting the challenges; you’re also guilty of accepting my whole self, while you don’t admit that all this is against my will!
If love is a crime, am I also guilty of attracting you with my charm?
Am I also guilty of alluring you into this affair and dragging you into this charade?
What have I done to bring you into my life, as I thought I was under control of ruling you?
But I can’t be guilty by association!
I’m not your accomplice; I don’t wanna be your co-conspirator!
It’s all because of you, upsetting me with your distorted passion!
Otherwise I’d be asking you: is this ever turning into a liaison that’ll uplift my spirit?

ROFL...love it and your life of crime...
