Eternity on Demand

If your love I hold to a higher ideal

I must be so bold as to steal

your heart from you

for the mind's desire may be all exciting

attractive to us both

but it'll never satisfy me

unless with heart and soul

you give your troth to stay... forever close

My troth has been to one woman, my Jennie, for 44 years and I've never gotten tired of living with her. She is my love, my very best friend.
PS: She is also a great cook.
