Everything from the line “I will be afraid…” on through the end of this sensitive poem is one of the most adept expressions I’ve ever heard about ‘loss of loved one,’ even before it happens. This piece of poetry describes so well what is underneath these words, “I can’t live without you.” But the gentleness of your way of saying “I will be afraid…” is so perfect. Rich with sensitivity is what I find in your writings, not just this one. Wish there were more souls like yours. There are many here in Authors Den. Thank you ~~ djl

You will never be able to let either the joys or the memories go.
What a beautiful poem!
