These are my contributions to the Grand Prix d'Eurovision.
I apologise to all those who haven't seen the Grand Prix as they shall not be able to appreciate these contributions the same way as will insiders who are familiar with the competition's songs and performances and their (multilingual) contents.
I apologise to all those who don't speak Turkish, Greek, French, Arabic and Russian as they too will be deprived of the meaning of some of the texts.
I further apologise for not being able to convey my music and choreographies which go with the lyrics.
And I finally apologise to those who are not famliar with the Cyprus problem and its domestic implications such as the baklava crisis, which stems from the controversy whether the word baklava originates from the Greek or the Turkish language.
Baklava is a speciality of the region's cuisine which you should try and linguistically, as we were told in the end, it is actually Armenian (that will bring me the Armenian votes!!!!!)

As a last note I will add that in the song I wrote for Cyprus all sentences begin in Greek and end in Turkish or vice versa so my song can make its own ontribution to the reunification of the island.

(I'm sure I'd make the first price if they'd only let me.)

Ouais,

Ouais,

Qui est

La guerre

Des femmes

3.) Seker

Haydi gel ey sekerim

Ben senin ve sen benim

Kizlarin en güzel kizim

Benim sekerlim hanim

Ne zaman Ne zaman

Seker Bayram

O yes, I know that you love me

Yes, I know that you crave me

I know it all, for I am

A Turkish man

To my heart you're like honey

You eat my food and my money

You stay home

When I roam

And ask me tenderly:

Ne zaman?

Ne zaman Ne zaman

Seker Bayram?

O tell me now, kocam-Bey

Ne zaman?

Ne zaman Ne zaman

Seker Bayram?

I shall do

Yet for you

All I can

But too much sugar is bad

For it makes you too ----

Well, I want you to be glad

But there're limits to that

Ne zaman Ne zaman

Seker Bayram?

O my wife knows to cook

Better than any book

When massaging my back

She always gets the right track

My soul and heart she does touch

But she like sugar too much

Ne zaman?

Ne zaman Ne zaman

Seker Bayram?

She asks me that all again

And again

As the day holds its sway

No sugar's left there to stay

Now I'm running away

For what else can I say

I'm a man,

Nothing more

Than a man

She haunts me in my dreams

And her voice to me streams:

Ne zaman?

Ne zaman Ne zaman

Seker Bayram?

Till one day I was told

Sugar leaves me all cold

For I'm craving

I'm craving

Some salt

But I'll answer her back:

Now I'm taking your track

And I ask her as often as I can:

Ne zaman Seker Bayram?

Ne zaman?

Seker Bayram Seker Bayram

Ne zaman?

Haydi gel ey sekerim

Ben senin ve sen benim

Kizalrim en güzel hanim

Ne zaman Ne zaman

Seker Bayram

..............

4.) The Big Finale

Un does tres

Un dos tres

Arba' Arba'

Un does tres

Ya khatchu

Ya khatchu

Shto ti lyubish menya

Shto ti lyubish menya

Sekerim

Hayya awladu'l jumhuriya

'ala'l ittihad al musiqi

Hayya jamaat al Urubiya

'ala'l Grand Prix

Bravo, la femme. L'homme n'a pas su comment prendre soin de cette belle planète. Laissons la femme essayer. Merci, mon ami. Amour et paix,
