I didn’t go to school that day in November 1963 My head hurt and I felt something was going to happen Mom and I were just going to take my baby sister out for a walk It was an unusually cool sunny day so heavy coats we didn’t need Mom wanted to get the baby a nice warm hat while I watched TV No color on those new black and white televisions, not needed What I saw then was very clear It would be embedded in my memories cells forever They replayed the scenes over and over and over President Kennedy’s topless car was just turning the corner slowly That day in Dallas, Texas I heard a pop and watched as Mr. Presidents head whipped back Then another pop and I watched his head snap forward Jackie was climbing on the trunk of the car to reach for a part of Mr. President’s head She whisked it fast and took Mr. President in her arms I knew he was gone; it was all there in black and white This was repeated over and over and over My Mom watched the repeats and I mentioned that I thought the President had been assassinated by men from our government She told me that I was nuts that I didn’t know what I was talking about I knew he was snuffed out because he knew too much, Just like Marilyn Monroe had been silenced It had been planned for some time, And Mr. President knew it… He was prepared
This was a very sad day indeed for America and the Free World..
There was a lot of conspiracy theories abounding at the time...some pointed the finger at J Edgar Hoover of the FBI..
We do remember this day just as well, all over the world the TV channels played the scene over and over again and people still had troubles believing what they witnessed. Well penned.

I did go to school that day, and I vividly remember it. First, every nun in our school started weeping, like I had never seen any nun weep before. Then, they eventually told us to all go home. When I got home, my mother was sitting on the living room floor, in front of our tiny black and white television, sobbing hysterically. That's one day, I will never forget, for as long as I live.
Helen - This is deeplly interesting... and troubling for me. How could you, a young girl, have such recall, and such shut-case opinions then? Do you still harbor such accusations today? If you do, would you tell me why?
