Can you imagine how an soldier feels in a foreign land where he spends time, finds friends then has to leave. Here are some thoughts from past wars.

The Wonderer

From far he came
Disappointed when he arrived
A feeling of non-belongingness
A veil of shyness fell over his face
Time for departure
Time for tears
Gone on his way
Never to be heard of again.

Unfortunately, this has been a recurring theme throughout the history of our world and it continues on. It's very sad that we are not evolving towards peace. Thank you, Helen. Love and peace,

Regis
