And in speaking them
I feel gut wrenching pain that devours my very soul
The soul that loves you like no woman would dare love a man
Me standing here
tears choking me
looking into your eyes
speaking words of love
that I have always spoken
hearing nothing in return
I would fall on my knees
look up at you
And hope that you would see
All that you are to me

I see the truth
It has come to me
And blanketed me with it’s reality
I do not like this truth
that speaks to me
But I welcome it
To save me from insanity
