Escape from me insanity

Unleash the confused coils of
my brain and let the madness cease.

The verse of off-key music
that serves no reason or rhyme,
Me thinks will surly entomb me
long before my time.

A life of making merry
for me is not to be.
My soul is much too weary,
I feel I'll never be free.

Free to taste the chocolate of happiness,
or breathe air after a cleansing rain
Free to walk the roads of bliss,
and rest in dreams devoid of pain.

The souls that sing with hearts full of
joy are granted to only a few.
The rest hold tight to life's fine coil
content to just make due.
