The Family Tree Whipping winds and pelting rain the demons on a rampage again They wage a losing battle you see nothing can fell the family tree A solid icon, brilliant in stature defying the savage raid of nature secured, by roots buried deeply, of endurance and fertility A fragile leaf from a center bough teetered fearfully toward the ground Branches spanned to protect it you see no one falls from the family tree Arms outstretched in lofty grace, perpetual protection, a devoted embrace dedicated strength gathered collectively eternally green is the family tree. � Sandy Knauer, 1998

Arms outstretched in lofty grace,
perpetual protection, a devoted embrace dedicated strength gathered collectively
eternally green is the family tree.

...I'm still compiling our family tree..what a collection of characters..(Germans,Polish,Croatian,Austrian..).no wonder I'm so messed up..phew!!!LOL!!
