The Jericho Maze Amazing isn't It how we blocked You midway—clocked Your death timed your Breath— The walls Have closed in— The Jericho Maze Has crumbled at your Feet Earthquake Tectonic plate Your destined fate Bottomed out lake Archaeologists Extremists The Jericho Maze Tell es-Sultan We guided You through A military mind Exercise Forestalled Your onward Movement Led you to Demise We Built a mind Install— Palestine-like Shrine Vault of Gold On the West Bank Pouring assayed Value at the mouth Of the lavish cave where We drink sacred wine Idling time Our Herod the Great Establishes a winter Residence at the entrance The Jericho Maze Unicursal One-way path Winding through Confused minds Disorientation Wrong turns Dead ends Copyright Sage Sweetwater
