Ronald Hull inspired me to write this poem. He wrote about his contentment with just being home, which I can relate to, so I added this poem.
I am at a point where going "over there" does not matter that much.
Sometimes I'd rather stay home where things have a personal touch.
I live in a home that's beautiful and meets all of our needs.
It's like being on a forever vacation with only two little cats to feed.
So if I don't travel too much, it's OK with me.
I'm so happy to be home because our home is where I really want to be.

Me Too! A stacation is often the best. I love my home too, no place else I'd rather be than at home with the one I love and my sweet Poodle dog. I love your thoughts, John Michael.
Wow! My partner would love that pool! She taught herself to swim when she was over 50 and loves to do laps at the gym.
My home is adequate for me to roam around in, in my wheelchair. I have a tiny backyard where she grows all kinds of exotic plants and fruit that we eat. For the last two summers, a local calico cat has had two litters of kittens that find my backyard a fun place to learn how to hunt birds trying to come to our bird feeder and birdbath and squirrels partaking in the same. It's a mean wild world out there in suburban Texas.
Your place looks lovely, and I feel the way you do. I love my home and I don't feel the need to travel all the time. I have too many friends with travel bug, they literally live off a suitcase all year round. I rather stay put, thanks for sharing.
