Feels like the calmness
after a tropical storm,
the memory of missing events,
air drunk on vacuum
playing harp and conch.

Down the lane, a shadow flies past
and climbs a dragon escalator
to ride a train of reflections.

The moments repeat,
and the calmness
turns into a shadow train
belching its vacuum smoke.

Seems a bit of an ouroborus write to me, skins turning inside out but both sides a true reflection of reality. I particularly like the first stanza, but also the enlargement of idea that comes with the follow through. Strongly imaged throughout. xx
