Stochasticism

by Debashish Haar — Read all 156 poems by Debashish Haar

Sunday, August 8, 2010

Thoughts are like city traffic:
constantly overtake one another.
The smell of tea is like some map:
covers every mile in a few inches.

The morning smells of lemons
when there’s no sense of color or taste.
In the evening, the rain surprises
as thoughts arrive and gather shape.

How long can we look at the invisible?

I very much enjoyed this. The intelligence and imagery were refreshing.

I spend most of my day looking at the invisible. Maybe that's my problem. Good poem.
