Tree that Aspired for the Stars

Poem Artwork

In shadows deep, a seed begins to rise,

Through soil of doubt, it breaks and seeks the day.
Its roots grow strong, reaching to broader skies,
As gentle winds bid fear to drift away.

Each leaf unfolds, a story etched in green,
From whispered rain, it drinks the taste of life.
Each scar and thorn, a testament unseen,
To weathered storms and days of sharpened strife.

New branches spread and find the light anew,
In hands it meets, in voices shared with grace.
Through colors bright, from each fresh morning’s hue,
Its worth is carved by each familiar face.

A tree now stands, its growth a subtle art,
In blooming peace, a self-wrought, rooted heart.

Debs, this is so lovely. A tree comparable to a human life. Beautifully penned.
