We once stood for neutrality

then Martin changed that policy

without even a public debate

countrymen and countrywomen, you should be irate

at this despotic reversal of a tradition

as the government gives a rendition

of a “We’re doing this for your own good,” theme

Doesn’t it make you want to scream?

How can we call ourselves peacekeepers when

our troops are doing active duty in Afghanistan

something is missing here, m’dear Mr. Harper

nobody asked us if it was okay, to use our sons and daughters as cannon fodder.
